JAMIA VISUAL SERVICES
This service has just been inaugurated at the car park entrance
within the complex. On offer are arrange of Audio-Visual material
on Islam. Recording and hire of cassettes, CD’s both audio
and video are offered. There is a latest projector with screen and
also satellite television beaming Islamic channels are some of the
services on offer.
JAMIA INFORMATION CENTER
Plans have been drawn up for the establishment of Jamia information
Center to be located at the main entrance on Banda street. Once
in operation, the Center will provide vital information on Islam
to Muslims and Non Muslims alike. The aim is to provide a one stop
booth offering information on Islam on a walk-in walk-out basis.
Plans are also at an advanced stage to set up a website with a
view of disseminating information on Islam and providing a forum
for positive interaction on Islamic issues
WELFARE SERVICES
With the ever increasing demand for this service and with the
limited resources at our disposal, we have only been able to cater
for burial fees, transport to stranded travelers and minor welfare
assistance. The funds for this activity are collected from the donation
boxes and from other well wishers. There is an urgent need to boost
this kitty as the demand for welfare assistance is ever growing
fuelled by the tough economic conditions experienced by the majority
of the Ummah
MEDICAL ASSISTANCE
As part of our social responsibility, we contribute KShs 25,000
monthly to the needy for the purchase of medicine through an arrangement
with Crescent Medical Aid who offer the service at a subsidized
cost. Also, through a generous donation from a well wisher of KShs
25,000 monthly, we have facilitated surgery, circumcision of some
revertees and other needs of the terminally ill in the community.
